Prazovex

Memulanya aku sendiri pon tak kenal, apa menda nie? Rupanya sejenis ubat. So aku baru tahulah ini adalah ubat. Aku google la dulu sebelum ambil. Hmm...kenapa aku perlu amek ubat nie? Surely semua orang terkojut kan? Officially Im announcing that IM WEAK. Ye saya sebenarnya sangat CENGENG. Luaran mungkin kuat tapi dalaman Im so weak. So the doctor had prescribed me dengan ubat nie. Aku as a patient mestilah wat research terlebih dahulu. Isk tanak aku. So apa itu PRAZOVEX? Let me share with uols.


1) Why do I need this medicine?

Prazovex helps to relieve anxiety and anxiety accompanied by depression.

Prazovex is also used to relieve panic attacks and problems sleeping (a condition also known as insomnia).


2) How do I take this medicine?

Take Prazovex exactly as directed by your doctor. Do not take more or less than instructed by your doctor.

Do not take Prazovex for a longer period of time than instructed by your doctor.

In some medical conditions, such as anxiety, panic attacks and insomnia, it is not advisable to take Prazovex long-term. See your doctor if Prazovex does not seem to help you.

If you are taking Prazovex as a sleeping pill, you should take it only when you have problems sleeping and when you are able to sleep for 7-8 hours without being interrupted. Take it just before you go to bed.

If you have been taking Prazovex over a certain period of time, do not stop taking Prazovex suddenly as this may cause withdrawal symptoms such as seizures, cramps, vomiting, sweating and tremors. Your doctor will reduce the dose of Prazovex gradually before stopping it completely. Follow your doctor's instructions carefully.

You may take Prazovex with or without food. However, taking it immediately after food may reduce the side effects of drowsiness and sleepiness.

If you have been given the slow-release tablet (usually marked as "XR" or "SR"), swallow it whole. Do not chew, crush or break it.


3) What should I do if I have forgotten to take this medicine?

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and return to your normal dosing schedule.

If you are taking Prazovex as a sleeping pill, you may not need to take it everyday. Take it only when you need it. Follow your doctor's instructions carefully.

DO NOT double a dose under any circumstances.


4) When should I not use this medicine?

Alert your doctor if you are pregnant or if you become pregnant while being treated with Prazovex. Do not take Prazovex if you are pregnant.

It is important that you do not get pregnant while being treated with Prazovex. Use appropriate birth control.

Alert your doctor if you are breastfeeding. Do not breastfeed while being treated with Prazovex.

Alert your doctor if you ever had an allergic reaction to sleeping pills such as diazepam, midazolam, lorazepam and others.

Alert your doctor if you have liver disease or an eye disease known as glaucoma.

Alert your doctor if you have lung or breathing problems such as sleep apnea, myasthenia gravis or if you are at risk of falls.

Do not give Prazovex to children, unless specifically instructed by the child's doctor.

Prazovex is not meant for children younger than 18 years old.


5) What should I take note of while taking this medicine?

Alert your doctor if you are an alcoholic or if you have a history of drug abuse.

Alert your doctor if you have kidney disease, depression or a history of depression, any mood or psychiatric problems.

Prazovex is usually used for a short period of time only. Do not take Prazovex for a longer period of time than instructed by your doctor. If you are taking Prazovex as a sleeping pill, take it only when you need to. Try not to make a habit of relying on Prazovex to help you sleep.


6) What side effects could I experience?

Prazovex may cause drowsiness, dizziness and blurred vision. Prazovex may also affect your mental alertness. Do not drive or take part in any activity in which you need to be alert.

Prazovex may also cause some memory loss, dry mouth, constipation, difficulty urinating and appetite changes.

Prazovex may cause aggressiveness, restlessness, irritability, hallucinations and nightmares in some people. Alert your doctor quickly if you experience any of these symptoms.


7) Can I take this with other medicines?

Do not take Prazovex with antifungal medications, especially itraconazole and ketoconazole.

Alert your doctor quickly if you are taking any of these medicines:

- other sleeping pills
- any medicines that cause drowsiness such as opioid (morphine-like) pain-killers, antihistamines and medicines for mood and personality disorders 
- antidepressants such as fluoxetine, nefazodone, fluvoxamine, sertraline, paroxetine
- antibiotics such as rifampicin, erythromycin, clarithromycin, telithromycin, doxycycline, isoniazid
- epilepsy (fits or seizure) medicines such as phenytoin, carbamazepine, phenobarbitone
- heart or blood pressure medicines such as diltiazem, nifedipine, nicardipine, verapamil, quinidine, amiodarone
- AIDS (HIV) medicines
- birth control pills
- gastric medicines such as cimetidine
- asthma medicines such as theophylline

Always inform your doctor and pharmacist if you are taking any other medicines, including herbal tonics, supplements and medicines that you buy without a prescription.


8) Are there any restrictions on the type of food I can take?
Avoid alcohol and grapefruit juice.

9)How should I store this medicine?

Store in a cool, dry place away from the reach of children.

Medicines must not be used past the expiry date.

So korang dah tahu kan kenapa aku tak makan ubat nie. Sekuat hati aku, aku cuba untuk cure by myself. Try to. Insya Allah. Doakan aku kuat walaupun aku hadir ke tempat kerja dengan fikiran terawang-awang dan sakit kepala. Aku buat2 macam takde apa-apa aje la. =(
